SAP FICO Consultant - E2E Implementation

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct requirement gathering sessions with clients to understand their business needs and financial processes.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications for SAP FICO (Financial Accounting & Controlling) modules.
• Configure SAP FI sub-modules such as General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Asset Accounting (AA).
• Configure SAP CO sub-modules such as Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Profit Center Accounting (PCA), Internal Orders, and Product Costing.
• Ensure smooth integration between FICO and other SAP modules including MM, SD, PP, and PS.
• Execute unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing to validate solutions.
• Provide end-user training, documentation, and post-implementation support.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to financial processes, reporting, and configurations.
• Stay updated with the latest features in S/4 HANA Finance and guide clients on best practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to drive process improvements and efficiency using SAP solutions.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3 - 7 years of experience as an SAP FICO Consultant.
• Hands-on expertise in S/4 HANA Finance or Public Cloud implementations.
• Strong functional knowledge of FI sub-modules (GL, AP, AR, AA) and CO sub-modules (CCA, PCA, Internal Orders, Product Costing).
• Knowledge of integration points between FICO and other SAP modules.
• Strong understanding of finance, accounting standards, and controlling principles.
• Experience in requirement gathering, configuration, testing, and deployment.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to SAP Fiori apps for finance and controlling.
• Knowledge of Central Finance (CFIN) concepts.
• Understanding of SAP taxation configurations (GST, VAT, etc.
• Experience with end-to-end greenfield or brownfield implementations.
• SAP FICO certification is an added advantage
