Responsibilities: Analyze complex business processes and issues to implement ABAP solutions Manage project scope working with project managers, team members, and team leads Act as ABAP expert to advise large team of developers Manage and enforce development best practices for ABAP development. JOB RELATED STATISTICS: JOB DUTIES: The incumbent will serve as one of the technical experts on the team helping to manage quality of work and deliverables across several SAP ERP applications and modules. The incumbent will be responsible for developing and delivering ABAP solutions for various demand while working with users to review and understand requirements. The incumbent will be responsible for troubleshooting testing and production issues, determining solutions, and delivering those solutions. The incumbent will work with other team members and project managers to manager workload of the team across multiple projects and SAP system to ensure quality solutions are delivered in a timely manner while helping to review resources needs to deliver those solutions. The incumbent will help review functional requirements from teams and advised ABAP programmers on best solutions to meet business needs utilizing SAP and Caterpillar best practices. Basic Qualifications: Position requires a four-year degree from an accredited college or university and/or 5 plus years experience SAP ABAP programming. SAP SD professionals design, implement and deploy SAP ERP solutions for sales, including salesorder management cycle and postsales activities, all business transactions in SAP Sales and Distribution relative to Pricing and billing and Customer Service component. Facilitate the implementation and support of SAP SD Perform detailed analysis of complex business process requirements and provide appropriate system solutions; identify, interpret, validate and document customer requirements Facilitate workshops to collect business requirements Map client business requirements, processes and objectives; develops necessary product modifications to satisfy clients needs. Design, customize, configure and testing of SD Identify gaps, issues and work around solutions. Act as liaison with client for troubleshooting investigate, analyze, and solve software problems. Handle changes or emergency transports as needed for high priority issues. Document functional designs, test cases and results. Proactively identify and propose business process and/or system enhancements Provide consulting services on both new implementations and existing support projects Act as a liaison between the business functions and the technical team. Provide adhoc training and user support as required Work selfdirected and independently; may act as subject matter mentor to more junior members Mandatory skill sets Minimum of 5 years of experience in a full cycle implementation as well as in support projects.
