SAP Datasphere Functional Consultant - Freelancing

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced SAP Datasphere Functional Consultant with strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud to join our team. The consultant will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing data integration and analytics solutions using SAP Datasphere while ensuring alignment with core business processes in SAP S/4 Public Cloud. This role requires a blend of functional business process expertise, strong understanding of S/4HANA Public Cloud data models, and hands-on experience with Datasphere.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead workshops to gather business requirements and translate them into data integration and reporting solutions using SAP Datasphere.
• Design and implement data models, semantic layers, and connections between SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud and other enterprise systems.
• Configure and optimize data pipelines to support analytics, reporting, and business intelligence needs.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and technical teams to ensure accurate data mapping and reporting structures.
• Ensure data quality, governance, and security are maintained across data flows.
• Support reporting and dashboard development using SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) integrated with Datasphere.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Datasphere solutions for performance and scalability.
• Stay up to date on SAP Datasphere, S/4 Public Cloud, and SAP BTP innovations to recommend best practices and continuous improvements.

Required Qualifications

• 36 years of experience working as an SAP Data or Analytics Consultant.
• Hands-on expertise with SAP Datasphere (or SAP Data Warehouse Cloud).
• Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud data models (Finance, Procurement, Sales, or Logistics modules).
• Experience with data integration tools and connectors between SAP S/4HANA and Datasphere.
• Functional understanding of business processes and ability to translate them into data and reporting requirements.
• Familiarity with SQL, data modeling, and semantic layer creation.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience integrating SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) with Datasphere.
• Exposure to SAP BTP services (CPI, Event Mesh, API Management).
• SAP Certification in Datasphere or S/4HANA Cloud.
• Experience in agile project methodologies.
