SAP BTP Consultant

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze integration requirements for IT solutions in collaboration with internal stakeholders and IT colleagues.
  
• Support and influence SAP integration architecture and API/data flow strategies with a strong emphasis on API-first approaches.
  
• Design and implement complex integration scenarios using SAP BTP Integration Suite, including synchronous and asynchronous communication.
  
• Leverage pre-packaged integration content effectively and customize where necessary.
  
• Develop enterprise-grade integration flows (iFlows) for SAP and non-SAP systems in A2A and B2B contexts.
  
• Implement various integration patterns such as Content-Based Routing, Scatter-Gather, Splitter, etc.
  
• Utilize multiple adapters including HTTP, IDOC, JDBC, File, SOAP, REST, OData, GraphQL, among others.
  
• Create and manage message mappings, XSLT mappings, and Groovy script-based mappings.
  
• Develop robust exception handling mechanisms for integration flows to ensure reliability and maintainability.
  
• Lead multiple SAP BTP integration implementations (minimum 2-3) with a proven track record.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration between SAP S/4HANA and Salesforce platforms.

Mandatory Skills & Expertise

• Minimum 7 years of experience in SAP BTP integration with at least 2-3 full lifecycle implementations.
  
• Strong hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA integration with Salesforce using SAP BTP Integration Suite.
  
• Expertise in designing, developing, and deploying complex iFlows for enterprise-grade integrations.
  
• Deep understanding of integration patterns, protocols, and adapters supported by SAP BTP.
  
• Strong skills in message mapping, XSLT, and Groovy scripting for data transformation and routing.
  
• Ability to analyze integration requirements and translate them into scalable SAP BTP solutions.
  
• Familiarity with API management, API-led connectivity, and microservices architecture is a plus.
  
• Excellent problem-solving skills and experience in exception handling and error management within integration scenarios.
  
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with business and technical stakeholders.
  

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
  
• Relevant SAP certifications in SAP BTP, Integration Suite, or related technologies are advantageous.
