Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and motivated SAP BASIS Consultant with 3 years of hands-on experience in SAP system administration. The ideal candidate should have solid experience in BASIS tasks such as system installation, configuration, upgrades, user management, and troubleshooting across various SAP landscapes.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform daily SAP BASIS administration tasks (monitoring, tuning, troubleshooting)
Install, configure, and upgrade SAP systems (ECC, S/4HANA, BW, PI, etc.)
Manage transports and perform client copies and system refreshes
Configure and manage SAP Solution Manager and EarlyWatch Alerts
Conduct user and role administration in SAP systems (via SU01, PFCG, etc.)
Monitor system performance and perform kernel upgrades and patching
Manage database administration (HANA/Oracle/SQL), backups, and recovery in coordination with DBAs
Work closely with functional teams, developers, and infrastructure teams to support SAP environments
Assist with system integration and connectivity (RFCs, ALE, IDocs)
Support audits, implement security recommendations, and maintain compliance

Required Skills:

3+ years of SAP BASIS experience in administration and operations
Experience with installation and configuration of SAP NetWeaver systems
Hands-on with SAP S/4HANA or SAP HANA database administration is a plus
Good understanding of SAP authorization concepts and user management
Familiarity with SAP transport management system (STMS)
Knowledge of backup/restore strategies and monitoring tools (e.g., CCMS, SolMan)
Experience working in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) is an advantage
Basic understanding of OS (Linux/Windows) and network concepts

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
SAP BASIS certification (optional but preferred)
Exposure to SAP Cloud Platform, SAP BTP, or SAP Fiori launchpad administration
