Sap Basis Consultant

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced SAP Basis Consultant with strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA and SAP RISE implementations to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of SAP systems. You will ensure high availability and optimal performance of SAP environments, supporting both technical and business requirements.

Skill / Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in SAP Basis administration
• Strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA including implementation, migration, and support
• Proven experience with SAP RISE and cloud deployment models
• Hands-on experience with SAP NetWeaver, S/4HANA, HANA DB, Oracle, or MS SQL Server
• In-depth experience with ECC, BW, PI/PO, and Fiori
• Strong knowledge of OS-level commands on Linux, UNIX, and Windows
• Experience in SAP installations, upgrades, and migrations (both on-premise and cloud)
• Familiarity with SAP Solution Manager, EarlyWatch reports, and monitoring tools
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP Basis Certification
• Experience with SAP on AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Understanding of security and compliance standards in SAP environments

Job Responsibilities

• Manage the installation, configuration, and maintenance of SAP systems including ECC, S/4HANA, BW, PI/PO, and Solution Manager
• Execute SAP S/4HANA migrations and upgrades, including both greenfield and brownfield implementations
• Implement and support SAP RISE environments on hyperscaler platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP
• Perform system monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning for SAP applications and databases
• Manage SAP user administration, including role creation and authorization management
• Support SAP transport management and apply patches, kernel updates, and OSS notes
• Conduct SAP system refreshes, backups, and disaster recovery planning
• Lead or support SAP system upgrades, migrations, and transitions to cloud-based environments
• Collaborate with functional and technical teams to resolve issues and implement system enhancements
• Ensure high availability of SAP systems and manage business continuity initiatives
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of SAP landscapes, processes, and system changes
