SAP ABAP

As a SAP Applications Developer, your role involves possessing an understanding of the overall vision, business needs, and solution architecture for SAP applications. You will utilize this knowledge to solve problems and provide technical solution design based on best practices. Your key responsibilities will include: - Working closely with the process team to understand business requirements, review functional specs, develop technical specs, build the application, unit test the application, and support the process team during integration testing. - Designing and building applications with best practices in mind under guidance. - Investigating and correcting production issues as they arise. - Potentially being involved in supporting and training other team members. - Performing any other duties as assigned. In terms of qualifications, you are required to have a Bachelor's degree along with at least 3 years of relevant experience. Your knowledge, skills, and abilities should include: - Experience in gathering requirements and providing technical solution design. - Proficiency in ABAPOOskills. - Familiarity with ABAP development workbench, Dictionary, Workflows, SAPForms, BAPI's, Enhancement Framework, RFCs, BADIs, IDOC, ALE and ABAP OBJECTS, IDoc Queue handling, ABAP Proxy Framework, Change document framework, Conversions and Data load methods, SPAU, SPDD, and post-upgrade activities, Open-SQL performance tuning. - Hands-on experience with ALE/IDoc configuration, enhancements, user exits, and error handling. - Working knowledge of SAP PI/PO integration layer. - Excellent analytical, logical problem-solving, and technological skills. - Ability to work effectively in a global and virtual environment, prioritize tasks in a high-pressure setting, and work autonomously with a self-motivated work ethic. - Willingness to travel globally. - Awareness of all relevant SOPs related to the position covered by this job description and compliance with the company's safety and quality policies at all times.
