SAP ABAP

Position: SAP ABAP Consultant
Experience Required: 2+ years Location: Coimbatore Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain SAP ABAP applications including reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms (RICEFW).
• Design and implement OData services for SAP Fiori/UI5 applications.
• Work on Adobe Forms (interactive and print) to meet business requirements.
• Create and optimize Core Data Services (CDS) views for analytical and transactional scenarios.
• Develop and fine-tune ABAP Managed Database Procedures (AMDP) for performance-intensive operations in SAP HANA.
• Collaborate with functional teams to understand requirements and deliver effective technical solutions.
• Support issue resolution, debugging, and performance optimization in custom developments.
• Participate in code reviews, technical documentation, and adherence to SAP best practices.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development (Reports, ALV, Enhancements, BADIs, User Exits).
• Experience with SAP OData services development and integration with Fiori/UI5.
• Proficiency in Adobe Forms design and customization.
• Good knowledge of CDS Views and AMDP on S/4HANA platform.
• Strong debugging and performance optimization skills.
• Familiarity with SAP development lifecycle (transport management, versioning, release process).
• Ability to work in agile or waterfall methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to SAP S/4HANA implementations or migrations.
• Knowledge of REST APIs, SOAP services, or other integration technologies.
• Basic understanding of SAP Fiori/UI5 development concepts.
• Experience working with functional modules (SD, MM, FI, PP, etc.) for technical integration.

Education

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• SAP certifications in ABAP on HANA or related areas (preferred but not mandatory).
