Sample Coordinator

Role & responsibilities:

• Coordinate and track the sampling process for all men's apparel products, including garments, accessories from initial design concept to final production.
• Work closely with designers, product developers, and suppliers to understand sampling requirements and timelines for each product category.
• Source and procure materials, trims, and components necessary for sampling, ensuring alignment with design specifications and quality standards.
• Manage sample development schedules and communicate updates to stakeholders to ensure alignment with project milestones and deadlines.
• Liaise with external vendors and manufacturers to facilitate sample production, including sample requests, cost negotiations, and quality control inspections.
• Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to address any issues or discrepancies identified during the sampling process and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to sample requests, approvals, and revisions, utilizing appropriate software systems and tools.
• Monitor and report on sampling costs, lead times, and inventory levels to support budget planning and resource allocation decisions.
• Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and emerging technologies related to sampling and product development, recommending process improvements and best practices as appropriate.
