Job Title: Salon and Spa ManagerJob Summary:

The Salon and Spa Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the salon and spa to ensure a high standard of service, customer satisfaction, and profitability. This role involves staff management, client relations, inventory control, marketing, and maintaining a clean, safe, and inviting environment.

Key Responsibilities:Operational Management:

  • Supervise day-to-day activities of the salon and spa.
  • Ensure all services are performed to the highest standard.
  • Maintain cleanliness and compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Manage appointment scheduling and resolve any booking issues.

Staff Management:

  • Recruit, train, and evaluate salon and spa staff including stylists, therapists, and front desk personnel.
  • Schedule staff shifts to ensure adequate coverage.
  • Motivate team members and handle employee concerns or conflicts.
  • Conduct performance reviews and identify training needs.

Customer Service:

  • Ensure a welcoming and professional atmosphere for clients.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints or issues promptly.
  • Monitor client satisfaction and implement improvements based on feedback.

Financial Management:

  • Oversee budgeting, pricing, and cost control.
  • Track revenue, expenses, and profitability.
  • Manage payroll and commission structures.

Marketing and Promotions:

  • Develop and implement promotional campaigns and loyalty programs.
  • Coordinate social media and online marketing efforts.
  • Partner with local businesses or influencers for promotional events.

Inventory and Supplies:

  • Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
  • Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  • Ensure all products used meet salon/spa standards.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in business or cosmetology is a plus).
  • Certification or diploma in cosmetology, esthetics, or related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience in salon or spa operations, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Knowledge of beauty and wellness trends and services.
  • Proficiency in salon/spa management software (e.g., Mindbody, Fresha).
  • Customer-focused with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently.

Work Environment:

  • Fast-paced, service-oriented setting.
  • May include evenings, weekends, and holiday shifts.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
