Role & responsibilities

Role Overview:

Salesforce Tester

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform

  functional, regression, and integration testing

  of Salesforce applications (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, etc.).
• Validate

  Salesforce configurations, customizations, workflows, triggers, and reports

  .
• Create and maintain

  test plans, test cases, and test scripts

  based on business requirements.
• Conduct

  API testing

  using tools like Postman or REST Assured.
• Develop and maintain

  automation scripts

  for Salesforce applications (preferably using

  Robot Framework

  ,

  Selenium

  , or

  Provar

  ).
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure product quality.
  
• Track and manage defects using tools like

  JIRA

  or

  Azure DevOps

  .
• Support

  UAT

  and ensure end-to-end test coverage.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in

  Salesforce Testing

  (manual and automation).
• Good understanding of

  Salesforce architecture, data model, and deployment process

  .
• Experience in testing

  Salesforce Lightning components, Apex classes, Visualforce pages

  , and

  Flows

  .
• Hands-on experience with

  API testing

  (SOAP / REST).
• Familiarity with

  CI/CD pipelines

  (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions) for automation execution.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and documentation skills.
  
• Good understanding of

  Agile / Scrum

  methodologies.

Good to Have:

• Experience with

  Salesforce Certification

  (Admin, Platform App Builder, or QA-related).
• Exposure to

  test automation tools

  specific to Salesforce (Provar, Copado, AutoRABIT).
• Experience in

  Salesforce Testing with Python / Robot Framework

  .
• Working knowledge of

  Test Management tools

  (QTest, Zephyr, TestRail).
