About the Role:

Salesforce QA Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for Salesforce applications, with a focus on Nonprofit Cloud and grants management workflows.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing to validate configurations, customizations, and data flows.
• Identify, document, and track bugs or defects using QA tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Collaborate with business analysts and developers to clarify requirements and ensure test coverage aligns with business goals.
• Validate automation scripts and support manual testing for major features or releases.
• Ensure testing environments are properly configured and data is prepared for test scenarios.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily standups.
• Provide QA sign-off on release readiness and contribute to post-deployment verification.

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in Salesforce QA or Software QA roles, preferably in enterprise environments.
• Familiarity with Salesforce Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP), Program Management Module (PMM), or Outbound Funds Module (OFM).
• Understanding of nonprofit and/or grants-related business processes (e.g., donor journeys, grant disbursements, impact tracking).
• Experience creating and executing detailed test plans and scenarios specific to Salesforce CRM solutions.
• Proficiency with QA tools such as Jira, TestRail, Zephyr, or similar.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce data models, validation rules, workflows, and user interface behavior.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a high level of attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Administrator, Nonprofit Cloud Consultant, or Platform App Builder.
• Experience testing Salesforce integrations with external systems or tools (e.g., payment processors, document management platforms, email marketing tools).
• Exposure to automation testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Provar, Copado Robotic Testing).
• Background working with nonprofits, foundations, or public sector organizations.
