Responsibilities
- Demonstrate thought leadership in Salesforce CRM and Platform innovations and practices.
- Ability to provide technical governance across Salesforce Platform solutions.
- Assess and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the Salesforce applicationsolutions to ensure user requirements and to meet the business objectives in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Identify & highlight different risks involved and work on mitigation plans.
- Mentoring team members to bring them up to speed.
- Drive and build a culture of learning throughout the team and improve core Salesforce expertise and come up with innovation and reusable components.
- Lead and guide the team during various phases of the project including (but not limited to) design, coding, unit testing to deployment.
- Act as a bridge between the development team and the customer.
- Provide technical expertise in identifying, evaluating, and developing technology solutions including integrations with other enterprise software solutions.
- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including discovery, analysis, requirements definition, solution design, configuration, code development, testing, peer code review, deployment, and support.
- Maintain a proactive work environment to facilitate a quick response to changing project requirements and customer objectives, and innovate ways to meet goals successfully.
- Ability to work within tight deadlines and effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Interact directly with managers and teams as necessary to analyze project objectives and capability requirements, including specifications for user interfaces, customized applications, and interactions with internal Salesforce instances.
- Ability to lead stakeholders across the organization at all levels to consensus in asserting an architecture that aligns the business objectives.
Tech Skills Checklist
- 8+ years of Salesforce experience.
- At least 4+ years of experience leading a technical team or in a senior role taking technical ownership.
- Must have Hands-on experience on multiple Salesforce cloud offerings, like Sales, Service, Communities, etc.
- Extensive development experience with Salesforce development technologies; Salesforce, Apex, Data modeling, Workflow, SOQL, SOSL Approval process, and Security using Roles/Profiles/Sharing Settings.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work on multiple assignments in a fast-paced and rapidly changing work environment.
- In-depth knowledge of JavaScript, REST API, SOAP API, XML, UML, Ajax, JSON,HTML/CSS.
- Experience in query and code optimization to improve the performance of applications.
- Experience in Release Management and Continuous Integration Methodologies.
- Experience in the Implementation of Various Tools for Code Reviews, Version Control and Deployment.
- Collaborating with the QA team to define test cases and metrics, and resolve questions about test results.
- Proven experience in building POCs, demos, and participating in requirement gathering sessions OR pre-sales meetings with prospective customers.
- Experience with Agile software development methodologies.

- How OAuth, SOAP, SAML, and other integration patterns work.
- NoSQL and how modern database systems work.
- Classic DBMS MySQL, Postgres etc.
- AWS, Google or Microsoft cloud experience.
