The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining and executing automated tests. Job Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation framework using tools such as Selenium, WebdriverIO, Playwright, and similar.
• Write test automation scripts, run tests and analyze test results to ensure software functionality and performance.
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured software testing documents.
• Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities.
• Perform thorough regression/ sanity testing when bugs are resolved.
• Work closely with a cross-functional team to understand project requirements and collaborate with the development team to resolve identified issues.
• Set up and manage test environments, including configuring test data, and automation frameworks.
• Continuously improve and optimize testing processes and respective tools.
• Participating in code reviews and providing feedback on testability and quality would be a plus.
• Strong debugging.
• Monitor all stages of software development to identify and resolve system malfunctions to meet quality standards.
• Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities.
• Review system requirements and track quality assurance metrics (e.g. defect densities and open defect counts).

Skills Required

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of Java/ Javascript.
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans, bug-sheets, and test cases.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
• Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus.
• Good understanding of Defect Reporting, Sanity, Regression, and Integration System Testing.
• Strong knowledge of Selenium, WebDriverIO, Playwright, testNG & CucumberJS framework (any).
• Experience working with API and Database Testing.
