Job Description

About the Role:

QA and Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, maintain, and execute
automated test scripts
using frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Appium, or similar.
Perform
manual testing
for complex workflows, new features, and regression testing.
Collaborate with software developers to
understand requirements, design test plans, and identify edge cases
.
Conduct
functional, integration, performance, and regression testing
to ensure product quality.
Identify, document, and track
defects and issues
using bug-tracking tools (Jira, Bugzilla, etc.).
Create and maintain
test documentation
, including test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
Participate in
code reviews and release planning
, providing QA insights.
Contribute to the
continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and automation frameworks
.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with
performance/load testing tools
like JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling.
Knowledge of
BDD/TDD frameworks
such as Cucumber or SpecFlow.
Exposure to
cloud-based testing platforms
and cross-browser/device testing.
Certifications such as
ISTQB, Certified Agile Tester, or Selenium Certification
.
Experience testing
mobile applications (iOS/Android)
.
