Salesforce Developer (CPQ/ Vlocity)

Salesforce CPQ or Vlocity (Salesforce Industries) and experience across both would be an added advantage

developing, implementing, and integrating customized solutions that support our evolving business needs across both platforms.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to build scalable, efficient, and industry-specific applications using the Salesforce ecosystem.

Salesforce CPQ or Vlocity components (OmniStudio), Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Flows

Roles and Responsibilities:

CPQ Developer

• Configure and customize CPQ features such as pricing, quoting, and product setups, along with optimizing Apex and LWC code.
  
• Collaborate with sales, operations, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective CPQ solutions.
  
• Integrate CPQ with other Salesforce Clouds and external systems to ensure smooth quoting, billing, and subscription processes.
  
• Troubleshoot system issues, perform routine maintenance, create documentation, and provide training to end users.
  
• Maintain data quality, follow best practices, track key metrics, and stay updated with new Salesforce CPQ enhancements and releases.

Vlocity Developer

• Design, develop, and implement scalable solutions using Vlocity (Salesforce Industries) components such as OmniScripts, DataRaptors, Integration Procedures, and Vlocity Cards, ensuring adherence to industry best practices.
  
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, translate business needs into technical solutions, and actively contribute to agile ceremonies throughout the project lifecycle.
  
• Perform thorough unit testing, peer reviews, and quality checks to ensure accuracy, performance, and reliability of all Vlocity configurations and customizations.
  
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical and functional issues, proactively identify risks or blockers, and escalate them when necessary to ensure smooth project delivery.
  
• Maintain clear technical documentation, manage client communications effectively, and stay updated with the latest Salesforce Industries/Vlocity enhancements to deliver optimized solutions.

Key Skills Required:

• Strong hands-on experience with either Salesforce CPQ or Vlocity (Salesforce Industries), including pricing rules, product bundles, discount schedules, quote templates, OmniScripts, DataRaptors, Integration Procedures, and Vlocity Cards.

• Proficiency in Salesforce development and configuration such as Apex, Triggers, Visualforce, LWC, Batch/Scheduled Apex, CPQ Plugins, Workflows, Validation Rules, Approval Processes, and overall data modelling.

• Ability to understand complex business requirements and convert them into either scalable CPQ or Vlocity solutions with smooth integrations across Salesforce Clouds and external systems.

• Excellent analytical and communication skills to collaborate with multiple teams, explain technical concepts clearly, and maintain accurate technical documentation.

• Commitment to continuous learning and best practices by staying updated with releases, ensuring data quality, system performance, security, and adapting effectively in agile environments.
