Salesforce Data Engineer

Key Responsibilities

1. Data Quality Structure & Architectural Governance

• Quality Architecture:

  Design, implement, and continuously maintain the technical data structures necessary to enforce and monitor

  high global data quality standards

  across the Salesforce ecosystem.

• Architectural Adherence:

  Ensure all data migration scripts, integration methods, and quality controls adhere strictly to the established architectural blueprints and security mandates defined by the Architect Office.

• Standards Enforcement:

  Develop proactive mechanisms to identify, cleanse, and prevent data discrepancies, utilizing tools like

  Salesforce Data Loader

  for auditing and mass quality correction in alignment with governance policies.

2. New Market Data Onboarding Leadership

• Strategic Migration Lead:

  Lead the entire data lifecycle for new market rollouts, from initial data assessment and mapping (working closely with Architects) to extraction, transformation, and secure loading into the global Salesforce instance.

• Process Standardization:

  Define repeatable, high-quality data onboarding processes and templates, utilizing

  CI/CD

  pipelines to automate and streamline data deployment for new market launch projects.

• Technical Ownership:

  Serve as the hands-on technical lead for all market migration activities, performing complex data scripting and validation, and utilizing

  Git

  for rigorous version control of all migration artifacts and scripts.

3. Development and Operational Excellence

• CI/CD & Git:

  Drive best practices for version control and deployment maturity. Systematically manage all data scripts, configuration files, and deployment artifacts using

  Git

  to ensure auditability and seamless collaboration.

• Pipeline Management:

  Maintain and optimize

  Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)

  pipelines for data scripts and metadata deployment, ensuring reliability and efficiency in the release process.

• Strategic Input:

  Provide expert data engineering input to the Architect Office, contributing to the development of the future data roadmap and selection of new integration technologies.

• Data migration:

  Through salesforce dataloader or other means, make sure data updates or market migrations are done with excellence.

Required Qualifications

• Experience:

  Minimum of

  5+ years

  of professional experience as a Data Engineer, with a significant focus on data governance, quality maintenance, and large-scale data migration projects within the Salesforce ecosystem.

• Strategic Focus:

  Demonstrated experience in

  leading the data aspects of large-scale system rollouts or market integrations

  .

• Core Technical Expertise:

  Proven, hands-on knowledge and expertise with:

• Salesforce Data Loader

  for complex data auditing, quality cleansing, and high-volume migration.
• Implementing and managing reliable

  CI/CD

  processes for data and metadata deployment in an enterprise IT context.
• Expert use of

  Git

  for source control and managing migration artifacts.

• Architectural Acumen:

  Proven ability to translate architectural standards and governance policies into practical, high-quality data solutions.

• Salesforce Expertise:

  Deep technical understanding of the Salesforce data model, security, and APIs critical for maintaining data integrity.

• Soft Skills:

  Exceptional leadership skills in technical project delivery, strategic thinking, and proven ability to communicate complex data strategies clearly to senior management and architectural teams.
