Role Overview

This role is for a highly skilled and business-minded professional to own and manage our Salesforce CRM platform. This role sits within the Sales team and acts as the bridge between sales processes, technology and IT. The CRM & Sales Enablement Manager is responsible for understanding business needs, designing and implementing scalable Salesforce solutions, maximizing user adoption, and driving overall sales productivity.

Key Responsibilities

Salesforce Ownership & Strategy

  • Serve as the primary business owner and subject matter expert for Salesforce.
  • Define the Salesforce vision and roadmap aligned with sales goals.
  • Identify new opportunities, features, and automations that create business value.
  • Ensure CRM data accuracy, integrity, and usability.

Process Design & Implementation

  • Translate business requirements into functional Salesforce solutions.
  • Design workflows, lead management processes, opportunity pipelines, forecasting tools, dashboards, and reports.
  • Implement and optimize automations to improve efficiency and user experience.
  • Partner with IT or external developers for complex customization or integrations.

User Enablement & Training

  • Develop and deliver onboarding and ongoing training for sales and cross-functional teams.
  • Create documentation, SOPs, and best-practice guidelines.
  • Act as the first point of contact for user questions and support.
  • Drive platform adoption and continuous improvement based on user feedback.

Analytics & Insights

  • Build and maintain dashboards and reports to support sales performance, pipeline visibility, KPIs, and management decisions.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, gaps, and growth opportunities.
  • Present insights and recommendations to leadership.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, and IT.
  • Support lead routing, campaign tracking, quoting processes, and customer lifecycle visibility.
  • Own Salesforce integrations with other tools (e.g. marketing automation, ERP, quoting tools, support systems).

Governance & Administration

  • Work closely with our IT team on
  • Managing user roles, permissions, and security settings.
  • Maintaining system configuration and coordinating updates/releases.
  • Establishing and enforcing data governance policies.
  • Troubleshooting issues and ensuring platform stability.

Project & Change Management

  • Lead CRM-related projects from concept to rollout.
  • Create project plans, timelines, and communication strategies.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and drive user adoption during change.

Qualifications

Required

  • 3+ years working with Salesforce CRM in a business-facing role.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes and CRM best practices.
  • Proven experience designing and implementing Salesforce workflows and features.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Strong communication and training ability with both technical and non-technical users.
  • High attention to detail and an ownership mindset.

Preferred

  • Salesforce Administrator or similar certification.
  • Experience in sales operations, sales enablement, or revenue operations.
  • Experience managing integrations or working with development teams.
  • Familiarity with reporting/BI tools.
