Job Description

You will be joining Siemens Ltd., India as an Order/Project Manager in the SI EA Export Systems division. Your role will involve ensuring the smooth execution of orders from allocated international markets/regions. Here are the key responsibilities and qualifications for this position: Upon receiving orders, your responsibilities will include receiving and acknowledging the order with sign-off from the sales/acquisition team as per defined processes and protocols. You will transfer techno-commercial order-related details to engineering after a thorough review and identification of any non-standard requirements. Monitoring job milestones, ensuring delivery adherence, and coordinating with customers for technical clarifications will be crucial aspects of your role. Collaborating with various departments including proposals, engineering, and factory for design, documentation, manufacturing, and testing activities is essential for timely order execution. Maintaining order documentation in line with project requirements, resolving engineering and project-related issues with customers and stakeholders, and managing changes and claims to maintain profitability will be part of your responsibilities. You will also handle post-supply/site queries, quality-related complaints, and coordinate dispatches with customer service and logistics teams. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent, along with 1-3 years of experience in order/project management. A good understanding of switchgear fundamentals, medium & low voltage products/systems, and the ability to interpret customer technical specifications is required. Strong communication, negotiation, and customer orientation skills are essential, along with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively. This position may require travel to Siemens factories and customer sites as needed. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, PowerBI, and excellent organization, time management, and interpersonal skills are necessary for success in this role.
