Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Representative with 3–4 years of experience in the logistics and supply chain industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for expanding business opportunities, managing client relationships, and ensuring the delivery of efficient logistics solutions. This role requires strong communication, analytical skills, and a proven ability to meet revenue targets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Development & Sales

  • Identify new business opportunities and develop a strong pipeline of prospective clients in the logistics sector.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets through effective negotiation and closing techniques.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and pricing quotes to potential customers.
  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape.

Client Relationship Management

  • Maintain and grow long-term relationships with existing clients to drive repeat business.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, ensuring timely and effective issue resolution.
  • Coordinate with operations, customer service, and support teams to ensure high-quality service delivery.

Operations Coordination

  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of shipments and logistics operations.
  • Monitor customer accounts, shipment status, and service performance to meet service-level expectations.
  • Ensure accurate documentation, contract management, and compliance with company standards.

Reporting & Analysis

  • Track, analyze, and report sales performance metrics to management.
  • Update CRM systems with relevant sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline progress.
  • Provide weekly and monthly business reports with insights and improvement suggestions.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or related field.
  • 3–4 years of proven experience in sales or business development within the logistics or freight forwarding industry.
  • Strong understanding of logistics services such as freight, warehousing, transportation, and customs clearance.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and CRM tools.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
