Job Description

We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Sales Executive to lead our party and event sales initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible for developing strategic plans, driving revenue growth, securing new business, and working closely with internal teams to deliver exceptional event experiences to our clients. The ideal candidate has a strong background in event sales, excellent communication skills, and a passion for creating memorable client experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement Strategic Sales Plans
  • Create and execute comprehensive sales strategies to meet or exceed event sales targets.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and client feedback to refine sales approaches.
  • Identify key sectors and segments (e.g., corporate, private, social, MICE) for targeting.
  • Build Relationships and Secure New Business Opportunities
  • Identify, engage, and convert potential clients through proactive outreach and networking.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to generate leads.
  • Foster and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, vendors, and partners.
  • Collaborate with Marketing on Lead Generation Campaigns
  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns that drive qualified leads.
  • Provide input on promotional content, digital campaigns, and seasonal offers.
  • Monitor campaign performance and contribute to ongoing optimization strategies.
  • Negotiate and Close Deals with Clients
  • Prepare tailored proposals, presentations, and pricing models based on client needs.
  • Lead contract negotiations, ensuring terms align with company policies and profitability.
  • Ensure smooth handover to operations and event teams, maintaining involvement as needed for high-touch client support.
  • Sales Reporting and Performance Tracking
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities in the CRM system.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports for senior management, highlighting pipeline status, wins, and forecasts.
  • Use data insights to refine strategies and improve conversion rates.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in sales, preferably in event planning, hospitality, or a related industry.
  • Proven ability to achieve sales targets and close high-value deals.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and MS Office tools.

Desirable Attributes:

  • Network of industry contacts in event planning, corporate services, or hospitality.
  • Experience in B2B and B2C event sales.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for events and a keen eye for customer experience and detail.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
