Job Description

Job Title:

Sales Officer

Key Responsibilities:

Identify and develop new customers, dealers, and project sites in the region
Promote and sell iron and steel products to builders, contractors, and fabricators
Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business
Generate quotations, negotiate prices, and close sales orders
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies
Ensure timely payment collection and follow up on outstanding dues
Coordinate with internal teams for order processing and delivery
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
Prepare daily/weekly sales reports and updates

Required Skills:

Good knowledge of building materials or iron & steel products
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Strong local market knowledge (Kannur & Kasaragod)
Ability to work independently and handle field sales
Basic computer proficiency (MS Office, Email, CRM preferred)

Eligibility Criteria:

Education:
Any Degree
Experience:
2 to 5 years in Sales (Building Materials / Iron & Steel)
Language:
Malayalam (must), English or Hindi (added advantage)
Bike with license:
Preferred
