About the Role

Sales & Marketing Operations Analyst

You will work closely with Sales leadership, Marketing, and cross-functional teams to manage reporting, streamline processes, and enable data-driven decision-making. Your work will directly impact lead generation, funnel conversion, and overall revenue performance, while allowing leadership to focus more on customer success initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Excellence & Process Management

  • Own end-to-end reporting and analytics processes for Sales & Marketing Ops, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and actionable insights.
  • Identify process gaps, propose improvements, and streamline workflows to drive efficiency and conversion.
  • Track lead management, funnel movement, and pipeline health for transparency and accountability.

Data Analysis & Insights

  • Build, automate, and maintain dashboards/reports to monitor KPIs (lead generation, funnel conversion, pipeline velocity, campaign ROI, etc.).
  • Identify trends, outliers, and opportunities for improvement with clear recommendations.
  • Support stakeholders in developing data-driven strategies to improve revenue outcomes.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Serve as the go-to person for Sales & Marketing reporting needs.
  • Collaborate closely with sales reps, marketing teams, and leadership to ensure adoption of tools and processes.
  • Facilitate discussions, resolve data/reporting issues, and train end-users when needed.

Documentation & Continuous Improvement

  • Maintain updated documentation for recurring deliverables.
  • Drive automation initiatives to minimize manual effort and improve accuracy.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 1–3 years of experience in Sales Operations, Marketing Operations, or Revenue Operations.
  • Advanced skills in

    Excel

    (Pivot Tables, Lookups, Formulas) and

    PowerPoint

    .
  • Experience with CRM/Marketing automation tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, Marketo, etc.) preferred.
  • Strong communication skills – able to explain complex data clearly and confidently.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Basic understanding of B2B Sales & Marketing processes, lead generation, and pipeline management.

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (any discipline).
  • MBA in Operations preferred.
