Sales & Marketing Engineer (IED)- Automation

As a Sales & Marketing Engineer specializing in IED (Industrial Electronic Devices), your primary responsibility will be to conduct sales and service operations for products such as Woodward, SEG, and Schneider within the Automation industry. You will be based in locations including Surat, Ahmedabad, Vadodara, and Bharuch. Your role will involve promoting products and services to end users, clients, and consultants. It will also require understanding customer applications and suggesting appropriate products or solutions. You will be expected to engage in follow-ups with clients and consultants for techno-commercial negotiations, participate in discussions, and assist in negotiating successful closures of inquiries. Obtaining purchase orders or work orders from clients and aiding them with warranty claims will also be part of your duties. Gathering market data to enhance products and services, providing on-site commissioning, and offering back-office support are additional responsibilities. This position demands frequent intra-state and interstate travel, including occasional overseas travel. Internally, you will collaborate with the Manager IED, Director Sales and Marketing, Manager Technical, Manager Automation, and Director Technical. Externally, you will interact with clients, consultants, and the sales teams of Woodward/Schneider. It is essential that candidates possess 1-3 years of experience in the Automation industry, with a background in BE/B. Tech. Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation engineering. Prior experience in the textile industry is preferred. Strong communication skills, a presentable appearance, and a smart demeanor are necessary qualities for this role.
