Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Core Job Role

  • Drive acquisition of

    high-ticket Loan Against Property (LAP) customers

    (1 Cr and above).
  • Manage end-to-end sales cycle from lead generation to disbursement.
  • Build strong relationships with

    HNI clients, corporates, and affluent individuals

    .
  • Ensure compliance with credit policies and regulatory guidelines.

Detailed Responsibilities

1. Business Development & Acquisition

  • Source new LAP business through direct channels, referrals, and open market.
  • Identify and target high-value customers requiring structured property-backed loans.
  • Develop strategies to penetrate premium customer segments.

2. Client Relationship Management

  • Engage with HNI clients to understand financing needs.
  • Provide customized solutions and negotiate terms to suit client requirements.
  • Maintain long-term relationships to encourage repeat business and cross-sell other financial products.

3. Credit & Documentation

  • Ensure accurate documentation and verification of property and financial records.
  • Liaise with credit and risk teams for smooth sanctioning of high-value loans.
  • Maintain compliance with RBI and internal audit standards.

4. Target Achievement

  • Achieve monthly and quarterly disbursement targets for Prime LAP.
  • Track conversion ratios and improve sanction-to-disbursement efficiency.

5. Market Intelligence

  • Monitor competitor offerings in the high-value LAP segment.
  • Provide feedback to product and policy teams for continuous improvement.

6. Reporting & MIS

  • Prepare regular reports on acquisition numbers, pipeline status, and disbursement performance.
  • Share insights with senior management for strategic decision-making.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong experience in

    retail lending / LAP sales

    (preferably in high-ticket segment).
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills for dealing with HNI clients.
  • Knowledge of property valuation, credit assessment, and loan structuring.
  • Target-driven mindset with ability to work independently.
  • Graduate/Postgraduate in any discipline; MBA preferred.
