About the Company

Wadi Surgicals is one of India’s fastest-growing manufacturers of nitrile gloves, with a state-of-the-art facility in Visakhapatnam and a strong domestic presence under our flagship brand Enliva. While our gloves are widely used across the medical, healthcare, pharmaceutical, and hospitality industries, we are now expanding into the household and retail segment.


Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our consumer & retail sales strategy across modern trade, e-commerce, and general trade channels as a FMCG product. This role will focus on launching and scaling our new household gloves into retail shelves alongside everyday hygiene essentials like cotton wool, earbuds, and bandages. The selected candidate will be based in Hyderabad and will lead sales execution nationally. This is a complete new segment in India and a challenging role.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the sales plan for consumer & retail channels as a FMCG product
  • Secure listings, negotiate terms, and ensure visibility in modern retail, pharmacy chains, and convenience stores
  • Build and grow e-commerce presence on Instamart, Amazon, Flipkart, BigBasket, Blinkit, Nykaa, and other key platforms
  • Drive category awareness through promotional campaigns, in-store activations, and digital marketing coordination
  • Appoint and manage national and regional distributors focused on consumer hygiene products
  • Monitor competitor activity, pricing strategies, and retail trends to inform business decisions
  • Coordinate with marketing, supply chain, and production teams to ensure smooth execution and stock availability


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree; MBA preferred
  • 10+ years of sales experience in FMCG, OTC healthcare, or consumer hygiene categories
  • Proven success in modern trade, retail distribution, and e-commerce sales
  • Strong network of retail buyers, category managers, and distributor partners
  • Experience in launching new consumer products and driving category growth
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and relationship management skills
  • Willingness to travel nationally as required
