Role Overview

The Sales Manager will be responsible for sourcing real estate funding proposals by engaging with builders, developers, and real estate groups. The role requires strong relationships within the real estate ecosystem and a solid understanding of banking/credit processes for project funding, construction finance, term loans, and structured funding.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and acquire

    builder and developer clients

    seeking project funding, construction finance, or refinance.
  • Meet builders regularly to understand their project requirements and funding needs.
  • Structure proposals and prepare the initial assessment note for internal review.
  • Coordinate with banks/NBFCs for:
    • Term loans
    • Project finance
    • Lease rental discounting (LRD)
    • Working capital for real estate entities
  • Manage end-to-end loan sourcing—from lead generation to sanction and disbursement.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with:
    • Builders and developers
    • Bank RMs, credit teams, and senior leadership
    • External partners, DSAs, consultants
  • Maintain a healthy pipeline and ensure monthly targets are met.
  • Stay updated with funding trends, interest rates, and product changes in the real estate lending market.
  • Ensure compliance, documentation, and due diligence requirements are supported for smooth loan closure.
  • Represent the company at industry events, developer meets, and networking forums.

Candidate Requirements

  • Mandatory:

    Prior experience in

    banking/NBFC

    handling

    real estate funding

    , project finance, LAP (builder profile), or construction finance.
  • Strong network with

    local builders and developers

    .
  • Understanding of

    project approvals, RERA, cash flow assessment

    , and builder credit evaluation.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and drive business closures.

Preferred Background

  • Worked as RM/Sales Manager in banks/NBFCs in:
    • Construction Finance
    • Real Estate Lending
    • SME/Corporate Lending with builder exposure
  • Experience working with DSAs and third-party sourcing partners.
