JOB OPENING – SALES MANAGER (PROJECTS & TEAM DEVELOPMENT)

AAKAR ENGINEERS is one of the growing companies in the field of water & wastewater management and Zero Liquid Discharge Solutions. We have a wide range of products to meet customer requirements. We use best of the processes / components / materials in our manufacturing process to achieve the desired performance and quality levels. Our range of products enables us to undertake turnkey projects for water & wastewater infrastructure projects. Our product range is as follows:

1) FRP Cooling Towers

2) RO Plants/Water Treatment Plants

3) Effluent/Wastewater Treatment Plants & Chemicals

4) Water Treatment Chemicals

5) Zero Liquid Discharge System

6) Evaporator Plants

We are seeking a results-driven Sales Manager who combines strong business development capabilities with effective team leadership. This role involves managing project inquiries, driving revenue through new and existing customer engagements, and mentoring junior sales staff to ensure consistent performance across the team.

Job Location: Gujarat (with occasional travel to Rajasthan)

Experience: 2 Years Minimum Requirement: Two-Wheeler

Salary Range: Maximum upto Rs. 8,00,000/- per annum

Skills Required:

  • Proven experience in technical sales and team management
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to lead by example and mentor junior staff
  • Comfortable with field travel and client-facing responsibilities
  • Demonstrates initiative, professionalism, and strategic thinking

Qualifications Requirement: BE in Mechanical/Chemical/Environment

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development & Client Engagement

  • Generate and convert new project inquiries using a provided database of prospective leads.
  • Prepare and send techno-commercial proposals tailored to client needs.
  • Follow up diligently to secure order finalization and maintain client satisfaction.
  • Cross-sell and upsell to existing customers to maximize revenue potential.

Team Leadership & Performance Management

  • Guide and support junior sales executives, ensuring they are trained, motivated, and aligned with team goals.
  • Monitor individual and team KPIs, provide feedback, and implement corrective actions where needed.
  • Foster a collaborative and accountable team culture that emphasizes initiative and ownership.

Operational Autonomy & Strategic Execution

  • Operate independently with minimal supervision, while maintaining alignment with senior management directives.
  • Demonstrate leadership in handling client negotiations, proposal strategy, and internal coordination.

Travel & Field Coordination

  • Plan and execute travel schedules for client meetings and site visits, primarily within Gujarat and occasionally in Rajasthan.
  • Ensure field activities are well-documented and contribute to pipeline development.
