Role & responsibilities

Sales Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Cross-Sell Strategy:

  • Drive personal loan sales through

    cross-sell to existing customer base

    (salary account holders, credit card holders, etc.).
  • Identify business opportunities through

    customer profiling, data analytics, and relationship deepening

    strategies.
  • Ensure achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets across regions.

Team Management:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Relationship Officers / Executives to drive sales productivity.
  • Set clear targets, monitor performance, and conduct regular performance reviews.
  • Implement training, coaching, and development programs to build sales capabilities.

Customer Relationship & Retention:

  • Maintain high customer satisfaction by ensuring a seamless loan application and disbursal process.
  • Leverage internal CRM tools and customer data to enhance conversion rates.
  • Ensure proper handling of customer queries and grievances.

Process & Compliance:

  • Ensure adherence to internal policies, regulatory guidelines, and audit standards.
  • Coordinate with credit, operations, and risk teams to ensure fast and accurate processing of loan applications.
  • Ensure quality sourcing and control delinquency levels through strong post-sale monitoring.

Key Requirements:

  • Education:

    Graduate in any discipline (MBA/PGDM preferred).
  • Experience:

    3-8 years of relevant experience in retail lending / personal loan sales, with at least 2-3 years in a team leadership role.
  • Proven track record in

    cross-sell models

    , preferably within a bank or NBFC.
  • Strong understanding of personal loan underwriting, credit evaluation, and KYC norms.
