Sales Manager For Building Material Manufacturing Industry

As a Sales Manager in the Building Material Manufacturing Industry, based in Bangalore, you will be responsible for achieving set targets for the financial year and contributing to the development of marketing strategies. Your role will involve conducting market research on competitor products and discount policies, as well as coordinating with the Project Management Department to keep customers informed about their orders through the post-sales team. You will work closely with the territory's sales team to develop sales strategies, engage with channel partners and their management, and support team members in closing orders and achieving their targets. Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely preparation of offers and estimates by the pre-sales team, answering client queries about product specifications, and maintaining architect and client relationships. Your role will also include learning and understanding the product to gain in-depth knowledge, creating and presenting sales performance reports in routine meetings, and ensuring the timely documentation and submission of sales reports and market matrix. Training your team members and delegating tasks to ensure successorship and individual growth will be vital, along with adhering to organizational policies and procedures. To excel in this role, you must have proficiency in MS Office, MS Excel, and marketing and sales software. Knowledge of reading and interpreting CAD drawings and plans is essential. The ideal candidate will have 10-15 years of experience in Building Material Sales, hold a Bachelor's degree in any Science (B.Tech./B.Sc.), and possess an MBA in Marketing.
