Job Summary

We are urgently seeking a driven and technically sound Sales Manager to lead and expand our business with Coal India and its subsidiaries. Candidates from related industries are encouraged to apply, provided they have experience working with large industrial or government clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong sales acumen, deep technical knowledge, and existing relationships within the public mining sector.

Key Responsibilities

· Drive sales growth with Coal India and its subsidiaries by leveraging existing relationships and building new ones.

  • Build and maintain professional relationships with on-ground personnel and techno-commercial teams at Material Management Complexes.
  • Promote and sell Material Handling Tools, Material Processing Equipment, and Heavy Earth Moving Machinery (HEMM).
  • Monitor tenders, project requirements, and purchasing patterns within the sector.
  • Prepare quotations, participate in technical and commercial negotiations, and follow up on orders.
  • Ensure after-sales service support and client satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely delivery and support.
  • Travel frequently across client sites and regional offices, as required.

Candidate Profile

· Minimum 5 years of continuous experience in industrial/technical sales, preferably with:

Coal India or its subsidiaries

Proven ability to manage B2B or government accounts and participate in technical-commercial discussions and tendering.

  • Strong technical knowledge of heavy industrial machinery, mechanical systems, or material processing equipment.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Familiarity with public procurement processes is a strong plus.

Eligibility

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related technical field preferred.
  • Location: Must be based in or willing to relocate to Kolkata.
  • Willingness to travel frequently across sites and client offices.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
