Role Overview: As a Sales Manager for the diesel gensets range (102000 kVA) in Jaipur and surrounding regions, your primary responsibility will be to identify, develop, and close sales opportunities for diesel gensets in the assigned region. You will play a crucial role in building and maintaining relationships with contractors, consultants, EPC companies, and end-users. To achieve sales targets, strategic planning, pipeline management, and effective negotiations will be essential. Conducting site visits, product presentations, and customer meetings to understand requirements and propose suitable solutions will also be part of your role. Collaboration with internal teams such as service, operations, and finance will ensure seamless order execution and customer satisfaction. Additionally, monitoring competitor activities and market trends to inform business strategies, as well as preparing regular sales reports, forecasts, and market insights for management, will be key responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Identify, develop, and close sales opportunities for diesel gensets in the assigned region. - Build and maintain relationships with contractors, consultants, EPC companies, and end-users. - Achieve sales targets through strategic planning, pipeline management, and effective negotiations. - Conduct site visits, product presentations, and customer meetings to understand requirements and propose suitable solutions. - Collaborate with internal teams (service, operations, finance) to ensure seamless order execution and customer satisfaction. - Monitor competitor activities and market trends to inform business strategies. - Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and market insights for management. Qualifications & Skills: - Bachelors degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or a related field (preferred). - Minimum 3 years of experience in genset or power solutions sales. - Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets. - Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. - Self-motivated, proactive, and willing to travel extensively.
