Position Overview:

This is a full-time on-site role for a Sales Manager / Business Development Manager in Mumbai- India. This role isresponsible to Drive revenue growth in the freight forwarding industry by acquiring new business, expanding key accounts, and delivering tailored logistics solutions in both air and ocean freight. Lead the full sales cyclefrom prospecting and lead generation to closing deals and ensuring client satisfactionwhile meeting and exceeding sales budgets and trade lane targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify, target, and secure new clients across key industry sectors for air and ocean freight services.

Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with multinational, corporate, and large-volume clients.

Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.

Prepare competitive proposals, quotations, and presentations aligned to client requirements.

Manage a robust sales pipeline, ensuring timely follow-up and high conversion rates.

Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new opportunities.

Collaborate with product, pricing, and operations teams for smooth service delivery.

Maintain accurate sales reporting and CRM updates to track performance and pipeline health.

Qualifications:

Graduate/ PG in any discipline (preferred: MBA - International Business, Logistics, Supply Chain).

Proven track record in air & ocean freight forwarding sales with minimum 4-5 Years relevant experience.

Strong customer base in western Region- India

Strong network in logistics/import-export ecosystem.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Familiarity with INCOTERMS, international trade documentation, and pricing structures.

Target-driven, self-motivated, and customer-centric
