As an Area Sales Manager in the Building Materials industry, you will be responsible for driving business growth in East Delhi, South Delhi, Noida, and Ludhiana by developing and executing effective sales strategies. With a minimum of 4+ years of experience in Building Material Sales, especially in the Trading segment, you will leverage your strong relationships with architects, builders, interior design firms, and contractors to achieve revenue targets and expand the client base across your assigned territories. Your key responsibilities will include identifying and onboarding new clients, projects, and trading opportunities in the building materials sector, conducting client meetings and product demonstrations, and monitoring market trends and competitor activities to recommend appropriate business strategies. You will also collaborate with internal teams for pricing, credit management, and customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and timely order fulfillment. To succeed in this role, you should be a Graduate/MBA with excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills. Your ability to meet and exceed sales targets, willingness to travel extensively within your assigned locations, and experience working with various building materials such as tiles, sanitaryware, paints, plywood, and hardware will set you up for success. Additionally, your familiarity with the local market in Delhi NCR and Ludhiana, along with your capacity to handle multiple accounts and drive both B2B and B2C sales, will be highly advantageous.
