Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for safety shoes.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies for industrial, institutional, and B2B clients.
  • Identify new business opportunities in factories, manufacturing units, EPC projects, and corporates.
  • Handle key accounts and negotiate commercial terms, pricing, and contracts.

Channel Management

  • Appoint, manage, and motivate distributors, dealers, and sub-dealers.
  • Monitor secondary sales, stock levels, and market coverage.
  • Ensure effective product placement, visibility, and availability in the assigned territory.

Market Development & Branding

  • Conduct product demonstrations and trials at customer sites.
  • Coordinate with marketing teams for promotions, trade schemes, and exhibitions.
  • Track competitor activities and provide market intelligence.

Team Management

  • Lead and guide Sales Officers / Sales Executives.
  • Set targets, review performance, and conduct regular field visits.
  • Train the team on product features, USPs, and safety standards.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Build long-term relationships with purchase, safety, and maintenance heads.
  • Address customer queries, complaints, and post-sales support issues.
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction and repeat business.

Reporting & Compliance

  • Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
  • Forecast demand and coordinate with supply chain for timely deliveries.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and compliance standards.

Key Requirements

  • Education:

    Graduate / MBA (Marketing preferred)
  • Experience:

    6-10 years of sales experience, preferably in
    • Safety shoes / Industrial footwear
    • PPE / Industrial safety products / B2B footwear sales
  • Skills & Competencies:

    • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
    • Knowledge of safety standards (IS, CE, EN, ASTM preferred)
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills
    • Team leadership and market development capability

Preferred Profile

  • Experience in handling institutional and project sales.
  • Strong network in industrial belts and manufacturing clusters.
  • Willingness to travel extensively.
