Job Title: Sales Manager - AI Products & Teacher Training

Role Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Target Achievement: Responsible for meeting and exceeding sales targets related to AI products and teacher training programs.
  • Lead Generation and Management: Identify and generate leads through research, networking, and partnerships within the education sector. Manage and nurture these leads through the sales funnel to closure.
  • Consultative Sales Approach: Understand the unique needs of schools and educational institutions, providing tailored solutions through AI products and teacher training programs.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build strong, long-lasting relationships with school leadership teams and key stakeholders. Act as a trusted advisor to schools as they adopt AI solutions.
  • Sales Presentations and Demos: Conduct product presentations and demonstrations, highlighting the benefits of AI adoption and the impact on teaching and learning outcomes.
  • Negotiation and Deal Closure: Handle negotiations, contracts, and finalizing deals. Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding for schools post-sale.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about trends in the education sector, emerging technologies, and the competitive landscape to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the customer success, training, and product teams to ensure smooth implementation of products post-sale and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Reporting and Forecasting: Maintain accurate sales records, forecast potential sales, and provide regular updates to leadership.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 6-9 years of experience in B2B sales, with a proven track record of selling to schools, educational institutions, or the education sector.
  • Strong understanding of AI products, edtech solutions, and teacher training programs.
  • Ability to present complex technological products in an accessible and compelling manner.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-driven with a demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple accounts and sales processes simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of the education landscape in India and familiarity with the challenges schools face in adopting new technologies.

Preferred Background:

  • Previous experience selling AI-powered products or education technology solutions.
  • Established network and relationships with schools, educational leaders, and decision-makers across India.
  • Experience with CRM tools, sales tracking software, and data-driven sales strategies.
