Role & responsibilities

This role as a Parts Sales Manager is responsible for planning and implementing activities for

achieving spares & Services business targets and ensuring customer satisfaction through prompt

support for spares & Services. Also, to provide technical proposals to customers and understand

the market segments for the given territory. Update the MIS in SFDC promptly.

Responsible for Marketing & Sales of aftermarket business by achieving steam turbine

Spare parts sales & Services targets. Updation of SFDC & MIS

Develop & analyze marketing Intelligence, including inputs on Competition.

Ability to understand technical specifications related to Parts, Repairs, and Services,

AMC, technical offer, and ability to participate in client technical meetings based on the

offer prepared by the proposal team. Achieving an on-time proposal in close coordination

with the proposal team.

Co-ordination with Internal & external stakeholders and closely work with cross-functional

teams, collect inputs and prepare offers through the proposal team.

Offer Techno-commercial inputs to customers & take it forward.

Participate in commercial negotiations for closing the order and collecting the first

advance.

Ensure Customer Satisfaction by providing timely feedback and relevant information to

internal stakeholders for timely action.

Negotiate and conclude a contract in adherence to the companys sales policy

Maintaining & updating data database for Inquiry, Scope, Pricing, Offer,

Techno-commercial clarifications,

- Coordinate with the factory, Service team, and the customer for material lifting.

Support cross-functional team for the collection of ABG/ PBG, Payments, Indemnity

Bond, INCOTERMS and HSS document submission.

Responsible for the regions administrative jobs, need to ensure customer retention

& gain new customers.

Preferred candidate profile

Graduation in Engineer Mechanical

10+ years with experience in selling capital goods / rotating equipment.

Exposure in EPCs, OEs, and End users.

Knowledge of Rotating Equipment ( preferably

turbines/capital goods

Knowledge relating to Mid life upgrades &

modifications

Knowledge of Project business

Knowledge of Industry trends, emerging market

trends, Customer behavior/expectations,

competitor overview

Techno-commercial understanding of solution /

product portfolio
