Job Description:
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets in the K12 publishing market.
Identify and establish relationships with schools, educational institutions, and key stakeholders.
Lead and mentor the sales team, providing guidance, training, and motivation.
Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and customer needs.
Present and demonstrate our educational products and solutions to prospective clients.
Negotiate contracts and close sales deals effectively.
Collaborate with marketing and content teams to align sales strategies.
Monitor sales performance metrics and prepare regular reports for management.
Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes affecting K12 education.
Own the complete PnL for the Publishing arm.
Skills Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
Proven experience (10+ years) in sales, preferably in education publishing or EdTech.
Demonstrated success in leading sales teams and achieving targets.
Strong understanding of the K12 education landscape and stakeholder needs.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills:
Existing network within the education sector.
Knowledge of digital and print educational content.
Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
