Job Description

As a Sales & Franchise/BD Associate at TOOZ, based in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, your primary responsibility will be to spearhead the expansion of our brand across various channels including retail, franchise partners, and select institutions such as hotels, resorts, and cafes. This dynamic role will require you to engage in field activities, pitching our brand, onboarding new partners, nurturing relationships, and ensuring a strong presence on shelves along with high visibility and consistent reorders. Your impact and responsibilities will encompass several key areas: General Trade & Institutional Sales: - Identify, pitch, and onboard standalone supermarkets and regional chains - Organize in-store sampling, merchandising, and product education initiatives - Monitor orders, reorders, and performance at the store level regularly - Approach resorts, boutique hotels, and cafes with tailored product proposals - Establish and maintain enduring relationships for sustained brand placement Franchise Development: - Identify and engage potential franchise partners in targeted regions like Chennai, Vellore & Coimbatore - Guide potential partners through the TOOZ brand narrative, franchise model, and commercial structure - Provide support for franchise onboarding, store setup, and team/product training to ensure a successful launch Cross-Functional Coordination: - Collaborate with the marketing team to create sales collaterals, visibility materials, and event-based creatives - Work closely with the operations team to ensure smooth order fulfillment and stock availability - Gather feedback from partners to enhance product-market fit and local marketing strategies The ideal candidate for this role should possess a Master's Degree or at least 3 years of experience in sales or business development, with a preference for previous exposure to industries like F&B, FMCG, or hospitality. Strong communication skills in English and Tamil, a willingness to travel for local and regional engagements, and the ability to manage multiple sales pipelines are essential. Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets for reporting and tracking is required, while familiarity with CRM tools would be advantageous.
