As a Sales Export in the shipping industry, your role will focus on developing and executing sales strategies for international markets, identifying new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and ensuring compliance with export regulations. Key Responsibilities: - Developing and implementing sales plans to increase export sales and market presence. - Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and potential clients, understanding their needs, and anticipating future requirements. - Identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities in international markets. - Negotiating contracts, freight rates, and other agreements with clients. - Ensuring all sales processes adhere to export laws and regulations, and managing documentation like bills of lading and certificates of origin. - Working with internal teams (logistics, operations) to ensure seamless delivery of services and meet customer requirements. - Monitoring market trends, analyzing competitor activities, and developing strategies to increase export sales. - Preparing regular sales reports and forecasts for management review. - Communicating effectively with clients and internal stakeholders, presenting solutions, and negotiating terms. Qualifications Required: - Minimum 5 years of experience in sales export in the shipping line. - Strong understanding of export laws and regulations. - Excellent negotiation and communication skills. - Ability to analyze market trends and competitor activities. - Proficiency in preparing sales reports and forecasts.
