Job Summary:

We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Jewelry Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, offer expert advice on jewelry purchases, and help clients find pieces that match their style and needs. As a Jewelry Consultant, you will play a key role in enhancing the customer experience and driving sales in a retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and engage customers in a warm, friendly manner.
• Understand customers’ needs and guide them through product selections.
• Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of gemstones, metals, styles, trends, and care instructions.
• Provide detailed information on products including origin, quality, and pricing.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure displays are clean and organized.
• Process sales transactions accurately using point-of-sale (POS) systems.
• Assist with inventory management, stock replenishment, and special orders.
• Handle customer service issues professionally and effectively.
• Build and maintain lasting customer relationships for repeat business.
• Stay informed about new product arrivals, company promotions, and industry trends.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in gemology or sales is a plus.
• Prior experience in retail sales, preferably in jewelry or luxury goods.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a good eye for style.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with POS systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) or equivalent.
• Multilingual abilities.
• Experience in a commission-based sales environment.

Work Environment:

• Retail store setting, may involve standing for extended periods.
• Fast-paced, customer-facing role with occasional pressure to meet sales targets.
