Job Description

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing sales operations, driving revenue growth, and ensuring customer satisfaction within the building materials industry. As a Sales Manager, you will lead the sales team, develop strategies to expand market share, and maintain strong relationships with clients .

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company revenue and growth objectives.
  • Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of sales officers to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key clients, contractors, architects, and distributors in the building materials sector.
  • Identify new business opportunities and markets to expand the companys footprint.
  • Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitor activity, and customer needs.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional strategies and campaigns tailored to the target audience.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of sales activities, forecasts, and progress toward goals.
  • Monitor sales performance metrics and adjust strategies as necessary to optimize results.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with clients to maximize profitability.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and industry regulations in all sales activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in sales within the building materials industry or related sectors.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of the building materials industry, market trends, and competitors.
  • Ability to travel as required to meet clients and attend industry events.
