Job summary

Results‑driven sales professional responsible for promoting and selling domestic and international tour packages to individual and corporate clients. Focused on generating new business, nurturing existing accounts, and achieving revenue targets through consultative selling and exceptional customer service.

Key responsibilities
  • Promote and sell tour packages, customized itineraries, and related travel services (flights, hotels, activities) to walk‑in, online, and corporate clients.
  • Develop new business by prospecting leads, attending travel events, and building relationships with travel agents, corporate travel coordinators, and other partners.
  • Understand client needs, budgets, and preferences to recommend suitable tours and upsell add‑on services such as excursions, insurance, and upgrades.
  • Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and tour presentations to individual travelers, groups, and corporate accounts.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from inquiry and quotation to booking confirmation, documentation, and post‑trip follow‑up.
  • Coordinate with operations and supplier partners (DMCs, hotels, airlines, transporters, local guides) to ensure accurate bookings and smooth tour execution.
  • Maintain and update customer records, leads, and pipeline status in CRM or booking systems; generate periodic sales and forecast reports.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor products, and seasonal demand to help design attractive tour packages and promotional campaigns.
  • Handle customer queries, changes, and complaints professionally to ensure high satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets, conversion ratios, and profitability objectives set by management.
Qualifications and skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Business, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 1–3+ years of experience in travel/tour sales or a similar customer‑facing sales role.
  • Strong knowledge of popular destinations, tour products, and basic geography; experience selling group tours or FIT packages is an advantage.
  • Proficiency with travel booking tools/CRMs and MS Office; comfort working with online inquiries and social media leads.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with a customer‑centric mindset.
  • Target‑oriented, self‑motivated, and able to work under pressure in a fast‑paced, seasonal environment.
