Job Description

A Channel Sales Executive is responsible for driving revenue growth through third-party partners, such as resellers, distributors, and dealers, rather than through direct customer interaction. This role focuses on managing, developing, and supporting these partners to achieve sales objectives and expand market reach. Key Responsibilities

  • Partner Management: Identify, recruit, onboard, and manage relationships with a network of channel partners.
  • Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement channel sales strategies that align with overall business objectives and meet revenue targets.
  • Enablement & Support: Provide training, resources, and product support (e.g., datasheets, demonstrations) to partners to enhance their sales capabilities and confidence.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor partner performance metrics, conduct regular business reviews, and address any issues or conflicts to optimize channel effectiveness.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (marketing, product, operations, and direct sales) to ensure seamless execution of sales programs and alignment of goals.
  • Negotiation & Contracts: Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with partners to maximize profitability and formalize agreements.
  • Market Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify new business opportunities.
  • Reporting & Forecasting: Prepare and deliver regular sales forecasts and reports to senior management.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is typically required.
  • Experience: Proven experience (often 1-3+ years) in channel sales, partner management, or general sales/business development is a common requirement.
  • Sales & Negotiation: Strong understanding of the sales process, excellent negotiation skills, and a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets are essential.
  • Relationship Building: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with diverse partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Technical Acumen: Sufficient knowledge of the company's products or services (especially in tech industries) to effectively communicate their value proposition to partners.
  • Software Proficiency: Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite is necessary for managing relationships and data analysis.
  • Soft Skills: Must be self-motivated, results-driven, a strategic thinker, and possess strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel to partner locations, industry events, and trade shows is often required.

Job Types: Full-time, Internship
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
