Job Title: Sales Executive – Mumbai Region Company: Muvall Castors Pvt. Ltd. Location: Mumbai & Surrounding Areas Department: Sales & Distribution Reporting To: Sales Manager / Operations Director About the Company Muvall Castors is a leading Indian manufacturer of industrial castor wheels with 1,500+ SKUs, strong dispatch capabilities, and a growing national distributor network. We have appointed an authorised distributor in Mumbai and are expanding our presence across the region. Role Summary We are hiring a field Sales Executive responsible for visiting industrial hardware shops, castor wheel stores, material handling dealers, and small OEMs in Mumbai. The goal is to drive secondary sales, ensure strong retailer relationships, place Muvall products in stores, and help our Mumbai distributor achieve consistent growth and profitability. This is a 100% field role. Key Responsibilities 1. Retailer Visits & Market Coverage a. Visit industrial hardware shops and castor wheel stores daily. b. Build long-term relationships with store owners and purchase decision-makers. c. Ensure Muvall products are displayed and actively recommended to customers. 2. Product Promotion & Communication a. Explain product features, uses, pricing and quality differences vs competitors. b. Share catalogs, samples, and handle basic technical queries. c. Ensure retailers understand the correct product application and benefits. 3. Driving Secondary Sales a. Generate consistent orders routed to the Mumbai distributor. b. Coordinate with the distributor for stock availability & fulfilments. c. Track fast-moving, slow-moving, and potential high-growth SKUs. 4. On-Ground Feedback & Market Intelligence a. Monitor competitor pricing, quality, and offers. b. Report challenges from retailers that affect pricing or product-market fit. c. Suggest improvements in packing, SKU mix, or product design based on field insights. 5. Reporting & Targets a. Maintain daily visit logs, retailer interactions, and follow-ups. b. Achieve monthly sales, visit, and activation targets. c. Submit weekly market reports. Required Skills & Experience 1–4 years of experience in field sales (industrial hardware/ tools/ castors preferred). Strong communication & relationship management. Ability to learn product details and explain technical features simply. Street-smart, proactive, and comfortable with extensive travel. Should know Mumbai’s industrial belts & hardware markets. Two-wheeler preferred. Salary & Benefits Fixed Salary: ₹32,000 – ₹36,000 (post-probation) Probation Salary: ₹30,000 – ₹34,000 (first 3 months) Incentives: Up to ₹12,000+ per month Travel Reimbursement: As per km / monthly allowance Mobile Reimbursement
