Job Description

Prepare and schedule dispatches based on delivery timelines and priorities.
Ensure correct quantity, quality, and documentation for dispatched goods.
Coordinate with warehouse, production, sales, and logistics teams.
Communicate dispatch details to drivers, transporters, and customers.
Prepare and verify invoices, delivery challans, e-way bills, packing lists, and transport documents.
Maintain accurate dispatch records and logs.
Update inventory records post-dispatch.
Ensure stock availability and report shortages or discrepancies.
Assign vehicles and plan routes for timely deliveries.
Track vehicles and monitor delivery status.
Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and safety standards.
Follow transportation and statutory regulations.
Handle dispatch delays, damages, or delivery issues.
Coordinate corrective actions with concerned departments.
Prepare daily, weekly, or monthly dispatch reports.
