Job Description

A Sales Executive - B2B is a sales professional responsible for driving business-to-business sales of dairy products like Skimmed Milk Powder, Whole Milk Powder, Whey Powder, Lactose, Dairy Whitener, Butter and Ghee to wholesale clients such as essence markets, HORECA, food processing companies, pharma and nutraceuticals requiring significant experience in the dairy industry and expertise in building and managing key customer relationships to achieve sales targets.

Key responsibilities may include:

  • Customer Acquisition and Management:

Identifying potential B2B dairy product customers, developing strong relationships with key decision-makers, and managing existing accounts to maximize sales opportunities.

  • Sales Strategy Development:

Analyzing market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to create effective sales strategies and promotional plans for dairy products.

  • Negotiation and Closing Deals:

Negotiating pricing, delivery terms, and contracts with customers to secure profitable sales deals.

  • Sales - Forecasting and Reporting:

Accurately forecasting sales volumes, tracking sales performance against targets, and providing regular reports to management.

  • Market Knowledge:

Staying updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and new dairy product innovations to identify potential business opportunities.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proven B2B sales experience:

Minimum of 5-8 years of successful sales experience in the dairy industry, preferably with a focus on institutional or wholesale sales.

  • Customer Relationship Management:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with clients and maintain customer loyalty.

  • Market Understanding:

Deep knowledge of the dairy market, including product categories, pricing structures, and distribution channels.

  • Sales Techniques:

Proficiency in sales methodologies like consultative selling, needs analysis, and objection handling.

  • Analytical Skills:

Ability to analyze sales data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimize sales performance.

Preferred candidate profile

At least 3-6 years of experience in FMCG, Sugar, Flavors & Essence, Cocoa or Maida companies as a Sales Executive. Having market knowledge of end consumers for these products or above mentioned dairy products. Result oriented, passionate person who is ambitious and is inclined towards the growth of the organization.
