Sales Engineer (Direct Industry Sales)

You will be working as a Sales Engineer at Metravi Instruments, a renowned company with over 55 years of experience in manufacturing and supplying electrical testing & measuring equipment in India. Metravi offers a wide range of over 700 products across 125 categories and exports to more than 35 countries. As part of the marketing team headquartered in Kolkata, your role will involve reaching out to top 500 manufacturing companies and establishing Metravi as a knowledge leader in the segment. **Key Responsibilities:** - Visit target industries to market Metravi products and achieve sales targets. - Develop relationships with client organizations" purchase and technical teams. - Collaborate with the Head Office team to acquire customers in specific industries like Solar and EV. - Identify maintenance issues faced by customers and propose solutions using Metravi instruments in consultation with the HO team. - Coordinate with the dispatch team for timely order placement and delivery. - Support Metravi dealers in the area to boost sales, conduct product demos, and troubleshoot issues. - Monitor customer complaints and service problems, coordinating with the HO for prompt resolutions. - Participate in industry exhibitions and events. - Stay updated on competitors" activities and products. - Prepare monthly sales forecasts and share them with the procurement team. - Conduct and engage in regular sales reviews. - Plan journeys aligned with monthly objectives and ensure adherence. - Compile reports and presentations as assigned. **Qualifications:** - Engineering/Diploma in Instrumentation **Experience:** - Sales experience with instrument marketeers in India - Previous work as a maintenance engineer handling instrumentation calibration and repairs is advantageous **Preferred Industries:** - Key Accountabilities **Key Skills:** - In-depth knowledge of instruments and their applications - Strong relationship-building abilities - Customer-centric approach - Familiarity with sales processes Join Metravi Instruments to leverage your sales expertise and contribute to the growth of the company in the dynamic electrical testing & measuring equipment industry.,
