Job Description

You will be joining Metravi Instruments as a Sales Engineer. Metravi is a renowned company with over 55 years of experience in manufacturing and supplying electrical testing & measuring equipment in India. As a Sales Engineer, your role will involve visiting target industries to market Metravi products, meeting sales targets, and building relationships with client organizations. You will work closely with the Head Office team to generate customers for specific target industries like Solar and Electric Vehicles. Additionally, you will be responsible for understanding maintenance problems faced by industrial customers, proposing solutions using Metravi instruments, coordinating order placements and deliveries, and providing support to Metravi dealers in the area. Your key responsibilities will include: - Visiting target industries to market Metravi products and achieve sales targets - Building relationships with client organizations" Purchase and technical teams - Working with the Head Office team to generate customers for specific target industries - Understanding maintenance problems faced by industrial customers and proposing solutions using Metravi instruments - Coordinating with the dispatch team for timely order placement and delivery - Providing support to Metravi dealers in the area for sales generation, product demos, and troubleshooting - Monitoring customer complaints and service issues, coordinating with the Head Office for timely resolution - Participating in industry exhibitions and events - Keeping track of competition activities and products - Preparing monthly sales forecasts and sharing with the procurement team - Conducting and participating in regular sales reviews - Planning journeys in line with monthly objectives and ensuring adherence - Preparing reports and presentations as assigned Qualifications required: - Engineering / Diploma in Instrumentation Experience: - Previous sales experience with instrument marketeers in India - Experience as a maintenance engineer handling instrumentation calibration and repairs is an added advantage Preferred Past industries: Not specified in the job description Key Skills required: - Deep understanding of instruments and their usage - Ability to build relationships - High degree of customer orientation - Understanding of sales processes,
