Job Summary

Sales Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Identify and generate new business opportunities through cold calls, networking, references, and market research.
Visit customers regularly to understand requirements and promote company products/services.
Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and quotations.
Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, and close orders to achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets.
Maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction.
Coordinate with internal departments (design, estimation, procurement & execution) for smooth order processing.
Track ongoing projects from inquiry, quotation, follow-up, order finalization and post-sales support.
Maintain accurate records of customer meetings, quotations, and sales pipeline in CRM / reports.
Study industry trends, competitor activities, and market insights to identify potential business strategies.
Support timely collection of payments and ensure customer accounts are settled within credit terms.
Participate in exhibitions, client visits, trade shows & product demonstrations.
Submit weekly/monthly sales reports to management.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Diploma / B.Tech / B.E in
2 5 years
of experience in
Sales Engineering
.
Strong AutoCAD proficiency is mandatory.
Excellent communication & customer-coordination skills.
Ability to work under timelines with strong attention to detail.
